It was raining and cold on the January day that Julia & Turan were married.
I watched as their close community of family and friends filled the Union Project one by one to decorate their cake, arrange their flowers, set up the tremendous feast of ethic foods and homemade desserts and even build an alter where the two could stand and be wed. The Bahá'í wedding ceremony was warm. Family and friends took turns recounting heartwarming and hilarious stories about the couple.
We took some time to dance, in the rain and on the dance floor.
